Chapter 6: Failing Plans, Part 2

"So you found me out. I wish I knew what your plans were, Karuzama." Fireblade said. "And so what if I did find you out? What if I didn't find you out? I still trust you, and you know that!" Karuzama said. Fireblade sighed. "You're right. Why do you trust me though? You... you shouldn't." He said.
"It's a creator thing. Creators lo- I mean like and trust their stuff they created." Karuzama explained. Fireblade looked at Karuzama in blunt disbelief. "Really? I don't... I mean, I do believe you. " He said. "I'm leaving to the forest, you know, with the pond? Do you want to come with me?" Karuzama asked. "Sure! I'd love to!" Fireblade exclaimed.

Karuzama and Fireblade were in the forest. "I wish I knew where the pond was. I heard that if you... well, stare at your reflection, your reflection will change. It's called, Silent Star Lake. Have you ever heard of it?" Karuzama asked. "Yeah, I've heard of Silent Star Lake. I think I know where it is. I'm not sure, but I think I know where it's located." Fireblade said. "Okay, why don't you lead, Fireblade?" Karuzama said. Fireblade nodded and went in front of him. I'm doing a great job of lying! Fireblade thought, I hope I can keep this up.

Fireblade and Karuzama arrived at Silent Star Lake. "Here we are!" Fireblade said. "Wow!" Karuzama exclaimed. He dashed to the pond and stared at his reflection. Fireblade walked over to the pond and stared at his reflection, too. "Oh, sweet!" Karuzama yelled. Fireblade glanced at Karuzama. "What is cool?" He asked. "My reflection changed!" Karuzama replied. Fireblade looked at Karuzama's reflection, then he looked at his own reflection. "Mine changed as well, Karuzama!" Fireblade yelled.
Fireblade's reflection looked like a black and white Catrea. It had amber eyes. Then, there was a voice only Fireblade could hear. "To be free, look for Comet." It whispered. Is this an Omen or Prophecy? Fireblade wondered. He looked at Karuzama's reflection. It looked exactly Fireblade. Fireblade and Karuzama heard a voice, as well. "Someone orange and green will betray you, so beware." The voice said. Crud! Now I'm seriously going to be found out! Fireblade thought, Curse you, voices! Fireblade spun around and ran away. "Fireblade, come back!!!" Karuzama yelled. But Fireblade kept on running.

What'll happen to Fireblade now? Karuzama sort of found out about Fireblade, but he still trusts Fireblade. But Fireblade thinks Karuzama will be angry at him! Will Fireblade return, or will Karuzama search for him? Read on, find out!

Chapter 5: Failing Plans, Part 1

Karuzama entered his room. "Karuzama, come over here!" Fireblade yelled. Karuzama ran over to Fireblade. "What is it this time?" He asked. "I want to ask you something." Fireblade replied. "What is your question?" Karuzama asked. Fireblade sighed. "Why did you suddenly run back towards here in anger a couple days ago? I mean, your mother told me to look over you when you were outside, and I know the exact reason why she wanted me to watch you." Fireblade replied.
Karuzama suddenly was interested in his conversation. "Why did Shizuka ask you to... watch over me?" Karuzama asked. "It's because of the raiders. You know how they are; they'll kill anyone in sight and steal anything in sight that they think they can get they're filthy paws on. But if there's anything more important than whatever they want, it'll be me. I can destroy them if I get captured." Fireblade said.
Karuzama sighed. "I know, I know. Shizuka has told me about the raiders many times, which leads me to the conclusion that she was one of them once. I hope that the raiders don't come here." He said. "Well, you can't hope for that forever. One day, they will come. I know that by fact." Fireblade said. "And just how do you know?" Karuzama asked disbelievingly. "I know that because they want me. They'd use me if they had me." Fireblade said. "Really? I don't believe that either. I should have lost you, you lier!" Karuzama screamed. "I would not mind if you abandon me somewhere. I am your most powerful thing you made, right?" He asked. "Well, yeah, I guess." Karuzama said. "That's why I'm protecting you. Do you get it? You can get captured!" Fireblade scolded. "Oh. Sorry." Karuzama said. Yeah, you'd BETTER be sorry! Fireblade thought angrily.
